For those readers unfamiliar with the SCP (Secure, Contain, Protect) Foundation, I highly recommend that you check it out. It is hard to describe (just see the unwieldy, wordy post title above), but suffice it to say it is a website that creative fiction writers with scientific knacks might find fascinating. The community's standards of mechanics, tone, and content is harsh, but success pays off. I am not a representative or administrator of the site, just a fan.
